Chelsea Goding-Doty, CPCC, ACC, is an arts administrator, producer, and Co-Active Coach.

Chelsea is currently the Director of Dance and State & Local Services at New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA).

Most recently she was the Senior Program Officer of Leadership Initiatives at New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), where she designed and facilitated professional development and capacity-building programs for nonprofit leaders and organizations. These included the Incubator for Executive Leaders of Color, Emerging Leaders Program, NYSCA Stabilization, and NYSCA/NYFA Community Arts Leaders programs.

Chelsea was previously a Lifecycle Capacity Consultant through Nonprofit Lifecycles Institute, and a coach with MAP Fund’s Scaffolding for Practicing Artists (SPA) program. Chelsea was also a facilitator and coach for Studio Museum’s Arts Leadership Praxis and Fellowship programs.

Previously, she worked with Kaneza Schaal as Managing Director to produce and tour works of opera and theater. Chelsea also served as Managing Director of Gallim, Studio Director of S Factor New York, and Interim Director of Education at New York City Center. In 2010, she co-founded Harlem Arts Festival (HAF), a multidisciplinary performing and visual arts festival presented annually in Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem, NY, serving as HAF’s Director of Marketing until 2016.

Chelsea is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and certified coach through the Co-Active Training Institute. She holds a BS in Arts Administration from Butler University and is an alum of Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and the Arts and Business Council of New York Multicultural Internship. She is a member of the Creative and Independent Producer Alliance (CIPA).
